Accounting Specialist
Looking for an opportunity to give back while utilizing your non-profit accounting experience? Child Advocates of Montgomery County is hiring an Accounting Specialist. Our organization empowers vulnerable children through volunteer advocacy and strengthens their family and community with education, so they can flourish in a safe, nurturing environment. We provide support, knowledge, and guidance for prevention services through community education, and through volunteer advocacy, for every child we serve. We are looking for a dynamic Accounting Specialist to join our growing innovative organization.
The Accounting Specialist is responsible for managing financial activities and ensuring fiscal compliance for Child Advocates of Montgomery County. The Accounting Specialist will oversee general ledger activities, transactions, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial information and statements. This individual will provide financial reporting, forecasting, and data/trend analysis. They will help prepare the annual budget and will manage audit/monitoring activities.
